Josef started his career at KPMG, then moved to Ernst & Young where he qualified as an Accountant. His career has spanned a number of senior commercial finance roles where he has consistently driven financial performance improvements. In his most recent roles as Group Financial Director at Elsome Group and Assistant Finance Director at Melton Mowbray Building Society, he successfully implemented financial systems, treasury management, reporting processes and leadership in strategic financial planning, to enhance cash flow, liquidity and profitability during his tenure.

Josef focuses on delivering clear financial direction aligned with commercial objectives, with a focus on strategic financial oversight, cash flow management and financial systems implementation. He turns financial data
into actionable insights, to provide his clients leadership teams with the clarity they need to manage the business efficiently.

He is known for working closely with business management teams, helping them to craft properly funded, tax-efficient business models, which optimise cash flow and profitability, that they use and understand. His hands on approach includes supervising clients accounts teams for his SME clients, leveraging technology to make life easier, including implementing credit control systems and preparing regular management reports that offer clear insights into business performance. These help in monitoring performance against forecast, to make sure goals and targets are met.
